3 Practices to Open Your Heart

When you are in your feminine energy, your heart is open.

You are soft, warm, compassionate, empathetic and you feel deeply.

However, life happens …

You may encounter heartbreaks, disappointments, losses, and failures.

All of this makes you close your heart!

Little by little ….

Until one day, you find yourself closed up, afraid, and bracing for more disappointments.

Your radiance, joy, and playfulness are gone.

And this is no fun way to live!!!

No matter what you have been through … DO NOT give up on your heart. It’s not worth it!

YOU CAN open your heart again and keep it open, while also feeling protected.

Let me show you how.

Here are the 3 practices to open your heart AGAIN.

1) Forgiveness meditation

The first practice to open your heart is a forgiveness meditation.

Imagine if you could free yourself of all the heaviness and hurt that happened.

How light would you feel? How excited again would you feel?

How open would you feel if you shook off all the heartbreak as if it never happened?

This is what forgiveness meditation does for you.

It opens your heart again.

Action to take:

Get curious. Look up forgiveness meditations, find one you like, and see if there is forgiving you can do to open your heart again.

2) Loving kindness meditation

The second practice I absolutely love for keeping my heart open is loving-kindness meditation.

Loving-kindness meditation teaches you to activate your heart and expand the love you are capable of feeling.

The more you do this meditation, the more loving, compassionate, and warm you will feel in your interactions with the world.

This will not only feel amazing to people around you, but most importantly to YOU!

Action to take:

There are many loving-kindness meditations on YouTube. Find one, and set a fun small challenge for yourself. Listen to one before sleep for 7 days. Then evaluate how it affected you!

3) Boundaries

The third – super important – practice to keep your heart open is to practice boundaries.

When you move through the world with an open heart, you can be exposed to getting hurt again.

It is a vulnerable way to live.

That’s why you need to make sure you are feeling secure in your boundaries!

Boundaries define what you are available for and what not.

It may mean you are ONLY available to people who are positive, kind, or at least neutral to you and limit contact with negative people.

It may mean you ONLY allow men in your presence, who add to your life and not only take.

Boundaries are individual.

The most important is that YOU feel safe and secure in them!

Action to take

Take a second to think. Have you ever taken the time to define your boundaries? What are you available for and what not? Do you allow all kinds of people, and situations into your life without any filter? Work on your boundaries to protect your heart.

Keeping an open heart is worth it!
